Friendship can spark in the most unexpected places, and at Rally, it’s happening on the pickleball courts. In this edition of Catalyzed, we feature a group of 11 friends, ranging in age from 30 to 53, each at vastly different life stages and representing a wide array of careers—from a cardiac anesthesiologist to a cybersecurity pro, an insurance broker, and even a former Miss Vermont. You wouldn’t expect this crew to click, but thanks to Rally’s Courts & Coffee and social events, they’ve not only connected—they’ve thrived.

The group’s bond took an unexpected turn when they discovered that seven of them—yes, seven—are Leos. What started as casual birthday talk turned into an ongoing cosmic joke that somehow, all these strong personalities manage to get along. They even threw a Leo-themed birthday bash hosted by Erika and Dom.
